Scalloped Roses

Here is the second card for my "Black Magic" card class at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. For the other card please see the post below or click here.

This is a scallop circle card that measures 5 1/4" in diameter. The stamp is from Hero Arts called Garden Roses.

The large scallop for the card base, the green polka dot circle layer and the main scallop layer were all cut using Accu-Cut dies and machine. Did you know that for only $20 a year (!!) you can join the Die-Cut Club at Cranberry Hill Mercantile and get unlimited use of ALL the dies and machines that they have available. That is such a great deal!!

I made this into an easel style card by adding folded piece of cardstock behind the scallop. I attached a scrap of the matching green polka dot paper on the back of the easel, and a layer of the white cardstock inside of the card.

On every scallop of the card I dry embossed the circles by using stylus and the eyelet setting mat as a stencil.

The image was stamped with White Pigment ink and then colored with Prisma Pencils. This is called Black Magic technique.
