Fancy Marci - Monochromatic

I am on a kick of making monochromatic cards with a touch of color ;-)  This time I colored Fancy Marci in sepia tones.  Houses are a Magnolia stamp, I stamped them inside of the card too - in Old Paper TH ink.  I will do a little tutorial next week to show how I made the punched fence to follow the shape of the hills.

There is no sentiment on this card, but I think it can be used for so many different occasions!!  And the appropriate sentiment can be added/stamped inside of the card when the occasion arise.

This will be one of the cards at my upcoming Workshop this Sunday.  If you live in Northern California and would like to attend one of my monthly Workshops, please email me for details :-)

This card measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".

Roses in Paris

I had so many people asking me to teach a class with THIS card, but due to lack of supplies I couldn't.. that was until I saw this absolutely GORGEOUS paper by Teresa Collins!!  So let me introduce to you my re-make of my original Marci in Paris card :-)  I am very happy with the way it has turned out!!  It still has a dramatic effect, but it is more feminine than the first one.  I am usually not a "pink" kind of girl, but I just love this pink!!

I colored Marci in Black & White with a hint of pink, kind of like a photo tinting effect.  Now looking at the photos of the card I think I should've colored her lips pink too..  I also colored the ribbon with Copic marker to match the paper.

This will be one of the cards at my upcoming Workshop this Sunday.  If you live in Northern California and would like to attend one of my monthly Workshops, please email me for details :-)

This card measures 6" x 6".
