The store is bringing my La-La Land Crafts stamps to the show too!!! And, I will be doing a Make-and-Take with one of my new Halloween stamps. The photos of the Make-and-Take are below.. It is an altered plastic container!! Cute, cute, cute!!

Double sided Reminisce paper. Inverted scallop Nestabilites. Rosie is colored with Copics.

The big brad with the cat in the center was made with the Build-a-Brad tool (we will have the tool for sale in our booth!!!). The brad was made with the same designer paper, how cool is that!!! You can make your own brads to coordinate with your projects!!

JustRite stamp on the back of the container. We will have tons of JustRite stamp and accessories at the show.

Oh, and we are going to have some of these empty containers for sale as well!! You can alter it as you wish and create your own Halloween treat!!

Old Fashioned Christmas with Graphic 45

Have you seen new Christmas paper Collection by Graphic 45? It is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I knew I had to make cards with their Frames and Tags the minute I saw them!! This is actually the really easy way to make some great Christmas cards with a little effort.. The Frames paper sheet includes 7 frames in different sizes. On the cards below I have used a largest frame that measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (it is HUGE) and one of the three medium size frames. All I did was to use coordinating paper for the cards, sponged all the layers, embellished and enhanced the frames and added "tags" to the center of the cards.

Both of these cards are for my upcoming "Graphic 45 Christmas" card class at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. We will make 5 cards in this class, all different designs. I am still working on the other 3 cards. This class is scheduled for:

Thursday, October 8th, 11 am to 2 pm
Thursday, October 8th, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Sunday, October 18th, 12 pm to 3 pm

Please bring Versamark Ink Pad, VersaMarker, your favorite dry adhesive and pop up dots (foam tape) to the class. All other supplies will be provided.

$30, 10 participants max

Class Kits are available until October 18th, 35 each.
Please call Cranberry Hill Mercantile at 408-736-9151 to sign up for the class and/or purchase your kit/s.

The first card measures 6" x 6".

I punched out the "frame" from the paper sheet, then punched out the middle part of it with the image. I used the cracked glass technique to enhance the image. Really like how it turned out. The frame has been popped onto the card and then I popped the layer with the main image on the top of it. Borders on the sides are from Cuttlebug. The ribbon has been tied up with twine and there is a button on the top of it. The tag and the circle with Santa image in the center of the card are from the Tags Sheet.

The card below was made with the largest frame from the same Frames sheet as the card above. This card measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".

The frame on this card was enhanced by embossing the Holly Berries and the Pine branches with Clear embossing powder, copper brads on the sentiment tag and using Spica pens on the Santa image. The tag inside of the card is from the Tags sheet.

All of the supplies used to design this card are available at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. If you don't live in the area, please call the store at 408-736-9151 to place your order over the phone.

Keep the story alive in our hearts Forever

I really do love how this card has turned out!!! I knew I wanted to use this new die from Spellbinders, Labels Seven and then I reached for the JustRite stamp set "Thinking of You" to pick the stamp for the card.. And, there was this sentiment there in the set.. "When a beautiful story has been told we keep it alive in our hearts forever.." A story!! Isn't that just a perfect sentiment to go with this die that looks like an open book!!

This is the third card for or my upcoming "JustRite Sympathy" card class at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. We will make three cards in this class. To see the other two cards please click here and here. This class is scheduled for:

God's Grace

I fell in love with this card by Sharon Johnson, especially with the way she tied the ribbon!!

I thought that I would try it for my second card for my upcoming "JustRite Sympathy" card class at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. We will make three cards in this class. To see the first card please click here. I am still working on the third card. This class is scheduled for:

Thursday, September 24th, 11 am to 2 pm
Thursday, September 24th, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Saturday, October 3rd, 11 am to 2 pm

Please bring your Cuttlebug with shims and rubber mat for Nestabilites (if you have them), pop-up dots (foam tape) and your favorite dry adhesive to the class. All other supplies will be provided.

Please call Cranberry Hill Mercantile at 408-736-9151 to sign up for the class and/or purchase your kit/s.

This card measures 6" x 6".

I didn't get the true colors of the card on the photograph.. the second layer is more of a brick color, not red as it looks in the photo..

The top part of the card was first embossed with Impressabilites and then I made a grid over it with my Scor-Pal. Stamp is from JustRite stamp set called "Thinking of You". Oval layers were cut with Nestabilites. Cuttlebug corners. Luxury silk ribbon finishes the card. Oh, the sentiment inside of the card is from Daisy Bucket.

All of the supplies used to design this card are available at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. If you don't live in the area, please call the store at 408-736-9151 to place your order over the phone.

Trick or Treat - Spooky Cakes

I was making this card today and realized that I am missing a few VERY essential things!!! I do not have Nestabilites Circles with the spikes (what are they called?), they would be SO PERFECT for the black layer under the sentiment. And, I just couldn't believe it (!!), but I do not have a web stamp!!! How is it even possible??!! If I find a large web stamp (I know there is one from Magnolia, but not sure if I can find it..), we will use it in the class to stamp the upper left and the lower right corners.. In the conclusion, I do not have enough of stamping supplies!!! But is there ever enough ;-)

Overall, I am happy with the way this card has turned out, but I still feel that it is missing "something"..

This is the second card for my upcoming "Impression Obsession Halloween" card class at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. We will make three cards in this class.. To see the first card please click here.. I am still working on the third one. This class is scheduled for:

Thursday, September 17th, 11 to 2 pm

Cupcakes on this card are the stamp from Impression Obsession called Spooky Cakes. I colored them with Copic Markers, cut out and popped onto the circles. Used different colors Stickles on the cupcakes. Martha Stewart border punch. Sentiment is from the clear stamp set by Hero Arts. The label is from Spellbinders set called Fancy Tags (LOVE IT!!). The bats inside of the card were punched out with Martha Stewart punch.

Quite a few things are going on on this card ;-) . Designer paper is by BoBunny and it already has the bats and the fence on it as a part of the design. The piece on the inside of the card that coordinates so well with the front is from the same 12x12 sheet of DP.. isn't that just great and make it so much easier to put things together!!! I sponged the "moon" with yellow ink..Distressed the edges of the layers and sponged with Grape ink from Memento, folded the right top corner and put the button with the twine bow on there. Orange DP behind the layer is also from BoBunny.

The Haunted house on the front of the card as well as on the back of it is a Shaped Die-Cut card from Hampton Arts that I cut apart. These cards sold out so fast!! I am sure glad I bought enough for my class!! I put some of the orange DP on the back of the house for the window and then added some Orange Peel Stickles.

Lala was colored with Copic Markers, cut out and popped in front of the house. You can buy this Lala stamp, other Halloween stamps along with the stamps from the First Release in La-La Land online store, here is the link.

The sentiment inside of the card is from JustRite Halloween set, I used 1" and 1 3/8" and 2" punches for the circles.

It's your Birthday, Celebrate!!

I made this card for my Design Team member Maureen Wong. We are celebrating Maureen's Birthday today on our La-La Land Crafts blog, click here to see the other cards. Happy Birthday Maureen!!!

My card measures 6" x 6".

I used my Pepper with Cake stamp on this card. But instead of having a cake in front of him, I gave him a few presents (stamps by Magnolia). Pepper and the presents were colored with Copic Markers. Designer paper is by Scribble Scrabble. I added Crystal Stickles to the presents and to the Designer Paper. Corner punch from Stampin Up. Copper Brads in the corners.

To purchase Pepper with Cake stamp, please click here to go to our web store.
