Old Fashioned Christmas with Graphic 45

Have you seen new Christmas paper Collection by Graphic 45? It is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I knew I had to make cards with their Frames and Tags the minute I saw them!! This is actually the really easy way to make some great Christmas cards with a little effort.. The Frames paper sheet includes 7 frames in different sizes. On the cards below I have used a largest frame that measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (it is HUGE) and one of the three medium size frames. All I did was to use coordinating paper for the cards, sponged all the layers, embellished and enhanced the frames and added "tags" to the center of the cards.

Both of these cards are for my upcoming "Graphic 45 Christmas" card class at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. We will make 5 cards in this class, all different designs. I am still working on the other 3 cards. This class is scheduled for:

Thursday, October 8th, 11 am to 2 pm
Thursday, October 8th, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Sunday, October 18th, 12 pm to 3 pm

Please bring Versamark Ink Pad, VersaMarker, your favorite dry adhesive and pop up dots (foam tape) to the class. All other supplies will be provided.

$30, 10 participants max

Class Kits are available until October 18th, 35 each.
Please call Cranberry Hill Mercantile at 408-736-9151 to sign up for the class and/or purchase your kit/s.

The first card measures 6" x 6".

I punched out the "frame" from the paper sheet, then punched out the middle part of it with the image. I used the cracked glass technique to enhance the image. Really like how it turned out. The frame has been popped onto the card and then I popped the layer with the main image on the top of it. Borders on the sides are from Cuttlebug. The ribbon has been tied up with twine and there is a button on the top of it. The tag and the circle with Santa image in the center of the card are from the Tags Sheet.

The card below was made with the largest frame from the same Frames sheet as the card above. This card measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".

The frame on this card was enhanced by embossing the Holly Berries and the Pine branches with Clear embossing powder, copper brads on the sentiment tag and using Spica pens on the Santa image. The tag inside of the card is from the Tags sheet.

All of the supplies used to design this card are available at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. If you don't live in the area, please call the store at 408-736-9151 to place your order over the phone.
