SDC#2: Color Challenge-Stampotique Stamps Only

I am a bit late, but I did manage to make a card for Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog. This week you are required to use Stampotique stamps to participate and one participant will be randomly selected for a $15.00 Gift Certificate to Shop at Stampotique!

Our challenge this week is a color challenge. Kim is hosting the challenge and she chose some springy colors to work with this week. We can't wait to see what you all create using the following colors:

~ Rose * Yellow * Mossy Green * Optional: Blue ~

To participate in this challenge and to see all the wonderful cards made by Stampotique Design Team for this color challenge, please click here.

I chose two stamps from the new Stampotique collection for my card. Welcome Door Item# 6095 and Twinkie Item# 6103. I had so much FUN making this card!!! As you see, it is not my usual style ;-)

This will be one of the cards for my upcoming "Spring Stampotique Style" card class at Cranberry Hill Mercantile in Sunnyvale, CA. We will make three cards in this class, all different designs and styles with new stamps from Stampotique. This class is scheduled for:

Tuesday, March 23rd, 12 pm to 3 pm
Sunday, April 11th, 12 pm to 3 pm

Please bring your Cuttlebug, your favorite dry adhesive and foam tape to the class. All other supplies will be provided.

$35, 10 participants max

Class Kits are available until April 11th, $35 each.

Please call Cranberry Hill Mercantile at 408-736-9151 to sign up for the class and/or to purchase your kit/s.

This card measures 6" x 6".

I am really happy with the way this card has turned out. It is different, that's for sure.. but it does make me smile.. I think it turned out to be a happy card :-)

I tore the corners of the rose paper and to show the "brick wall". I used Spellbinders embossing die to make the bricks, T3-010 Parallel Lines - Bricks. EK Success Fancy Corner punch. Copper brads in the corners. The stamps are from Stampotique. Colored with Copic Markers. See the foliage by the door and the flowers by the boy? I hand drew those.. I know, I know.. I am such an artista, hehehe ;-)

All the supplies used to design this card are available for purchase at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. If you do not live in the area, you can call the store at 408-736-9151 to place your order over the phone.

Hugs!!

Irina, your card is definitely very cool. I love that you have the torn edges with the bricks showing through. Great job on the challenge this week!
