Trick or Treat - Spooky Cakes

I was making this card today and realized that I am missing a few VERY essential things!!! I do not have Nestabilites Circles with the spikes (what are they called?), they would be SO PERFECT for the black layer under the sentiment. And, I just couldn't believe it (!!), but I do not have a web stamp!!! How is it even possible??!! If I find a large web stamp (I know there is one from Magnolia, but not sure if I can find it..), we will use it in the class to stamp the upper left and the lower right corners.. In the conclusion, I do not have enough of stamping supplies!!! But is there ever enough ;-)

Overall, I am happy with the way this card has turned out, but I still feel that it is missing "something"..

This is the second card for my upcoming "Impression Obsession Halloween" card class at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. We will make three cards in this class.. To see the first card please click here.. I am still working on the third one. This class is scheduled for:

Thursday, September 17th, 11 to 2 pm
Thursday, September 17th, 4:30 to 7:30 pm
Tuesday, September 29th, 12 to 3 pm

Please bring pop-up dots (foam tape) and your favorite dry adhesive to the class.

All other supplies will be provided.

$30, 10 participants max

Please call Cranberry Hill Mercantile at 408-736-9151 to sign up for the class and/or purchase your kit/s.

This card measures 6" x 6".

Cupcakes on this card are the stamp from Impression Obsession called Spooky Cakes. I colored them with Copic Markers, cut out and popped onto the circles. Used different colors Stickles on the cupcakes. Martha Stewart border punch. Sentiment is from the clear stamp set by Hero Arts. The label is from Spellbinders set called Fancy Tags (LOVE IT!!). The bats inside of the card were punched out with Martha Stewart punch.

All of the supplies used to design this card are available at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. If you don't live in the area, please call the store at 408-736-9151 to place your order over the phone.

Great card, I think the dies are reverse scallops, hang on I will check - beg pardon they are inverted scallops!

I love your work, it's just gorgeous. AND I love your hair. I want hair like that but I've got limp, dull mousey hair, oh well.
BTW, there's a decent spider web on the Inkadinkdo "Creepy Crawly" stamp set.

Never enough girl! too funny! Hey there is a little trick with your scallops you can try. Cut a scallop, then rotate the scallop piece half way and then cut it again...you can get some fun spikes that way. I did one like that on my blog!
