Tilda Make-and-Take plus the list of my favorite Copic Combinations

These card toppers were my Make-and-Take projects at the Stamp in the Hand show in Sacramento, California on Saturday, May 9th.. This time we decided to give ladies a choice of the Tilda and Edwin images. I will be doing the same project for the Make-and-Take in July when we go the stamp show in Los Angeles..

Both scalloped and plain circles were cut and embossed with Nestabilites. The sentiment was created with the JustRite, I used the large 3 1/4" stamper and the Brayton font. Since there were not enough smaller size letters, I had to combine with the medium size. To create the "hill" for the images to sit on, I punched out the circle and then trimmed the bottom of it to make the "hill" shape. All of these Magnolia stamps are available for purchase at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. You can even place your order online, here is the link. Or call the store at 408-736-9151 to place your order. The shipping is FREE with the purchase of two or more Magnolia stamps.

Now.. I wanted to talk a little bit about the Copic Markers. First of, I want to start with my paper preference.. I know that this paper is not listed anywhere and you will not hear about it from Copic.. But the only reason is because this paper is kind of new and not so many people know about it.. The only paper that I use with my Copic Markers is the Coconut Swirl color by Bazzill cardstock. This cardstock DOES NOT have any texture, it is from Bazzill Smoothies Collection. This paper works wonderfully with the Copics!! You definitely have to try it!! If this cardstock is not sold in your local craft store, you can order some from Cranberry Hill Mercantile. Just give them a call during the business hours at 408-736-9151..

So many people ask me about my favorite color combinations and I decided to post this on my blog..

These are wonderful. Your coloring is awesome. About the paper.... does it bleed at all. Do you have to wait for it to dry or heat set it? I am looking for an alternative paper to use and would love to find one.

Your make and takes are just too darn cute! Leave it up to you to figure out to use both size letters to make it work..your so clever! Sorry I missed you at the show...Sacramento is just a hop skip and an hour and half away, but I had other things I had to do that weekend. Maybe next year! Anyway love your art! Thanks again for the inspiration and for always showing us your beautiful work... hugs, Cynde
