The Pink Moon

There is still time to enter into my Blog Candy, details are here.

I made this card is for my upcoming "Emboss Resist" card class at Cranberry Hill Mercantile, I call this card "The Pink Moon". I really love the results you can achieve with the emboss resist technique and am very pleased with the way this card has turned out. In the class we will make three cards, all different designs. This class is scheduled for:

Thursday, May 14th, 11 am to 2 pm
Thursday, May 14th, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Saturday, May 30th, 12 pm to 3 pm

Please call Cranberry Hill Mercantile at 408-736-9151 to sign up for the class.

Unfortunately, since this is a technique class, the Class Kits will not be available for this class.

Believe me, the card actually looks so much better in real life.. I used Bling Bazzill Cardstock for the background and Metallic Cardstock for the corners.. I still have problems showing the real colors on the pictures when photographing shiny surfaces..

This card measures 6" x 6".

All the stamps used on this card are from the clear stamp set by Hampton Arts called Blooming Memories. The images were embossed and then I sponged the moon and the sky around it. Since I didn't have Liquid Pearls in pink, I used the white Liquid Pearls in the centers of all the flowers. After Liquid Pearls had dried, I added color with the Copic Marker. The corners are the Cuttlebug die cuts, I added Pink Pearls from Making Memories to the corners.

Hugs!!
