Framed Ocean Scene

This card came out of a happy accident :-) I was working on the card for my "Simple Cards" class and had made this one instead.. It was one of those days when things just happen!! Not much effort or planning involved!!! It was quick and painless!! And oh how do I LOVE the result!! It is very elegant, I think it can be used for any occasion and can be even used for men.. It looks so much better in real life too!!!

It turned out so beautiful, I just have to design a new class just around it!! I will make two more cards to go along with this one.. I am thinking about making it a "Frame It!" class..

So.. this will be one of the cards for my upcoming "Frame It!" card class at Cranberry Hill Mercantile in Sunnyvale, CA. We will make three cards in this class, all different designs. These cards feature different techniques and various images. This class is scheduled for:

Thursday, July 1st, 11 am to 2 pm
Thursday, July 1st 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Sunday, July 18th, 12 pm to 3 pm

Please bring your Cuttlebug, your favorite dry adhesive and foam tape (pop-up dots) to the class. All other supplies will be provided.

If you can make it to the class or would like to make some extra cards, the Class Kits are available until July 18th, $35 each.

Please call Cranberry Hill Mercantile at 408-736-9151 to sign up for the class and/or to purchase your kit/s.

This card measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/4".

Martha Stewart punch-around-a corner punch. Spellbinders Nestabilites to make a window for the frame. Cuttlebug embossing folder. The scene stamp from Inkadinkado. Sentiment from Amuse. Both the image and the sentiment were stamped with Distressed ink and heat embossed with Clear embossing powder, such a nice effect in real life but so hard to see on the photo. Button is from Buttons Galore.

All of the supplies used to design this card are available for purchase at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. If you do not live in the area, you can call the store at 408-736-9151 to place your order over the phone.

Hugs!!
:) Irina
