Be my Valentine

It is not a secret, I have a very hard time making simple cards.. To challenge myself, I have scheduled a "Quick and Simple Valentines" card class at Cranberry Hill Mercantile in Sunnyvale, CA. We will make FIVE cards in this class. I am showing you two of the cards today and will post the other three within a few days.. This class is scheduled for:

Thursday, February 4th, 11 am to 2 pm
Thursday, February 4th, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Please bring your Cuttlebug, foam tape and your favorite adhesive to this class. All other supplies will be provided.

$30, 10 participants max.

Class Kits are available until February 4th, $35 each.

Please call Cranberry Hill Mercantile at 408-736-9151 to sign up for the class and/or purchase your kit/s.

The first card measures 6" x 6".

I have made my own ribbon by stamping XOXO and the hearts using Stazon ink, really LOVE how it turned out. Hearts were made with Marvy Urchida punches and embossed with Cuttlebug. Martha Stewart Border punch. EK Success Corner punch. Stem for "hearts flower" is from clear stamp set by Hero Arts called Many Hearts.

The second card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

Basic Grey designer paper. Fiskars Border punch. Hearts are from Hero Arts clear stamp set called Many Hearts. Sentiment is from Hero Arts clear stamp set called Valentine Sayings.

All the supplies used to design this card are available for purchase at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. If you do not live in the area, you can call the store at 408-736-9151 to place your order over the phone.

Hugs!!

They are still elegant even though they are simple. How hard was it for you to do those? Great work like always. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

I know it can be so hard to make simple cards. Yours are so elegant! I love how you embossed hearts and added heart ribbon on the first card! And really like the soft look of the second! :)
