I love making projects as much as I love making cards!  It's good to do something different for a change ;-)

A few days ago I showed you my Altered Canvas with our Daisy Faerie Marci, here is the link in case you've missed it.  Today's card features another one of our new faerie images, this is Rose Faerie Marci!  My card also features these dies - Large Flourish, Rolled Roses (Large and Small&Medium) and Filigree Corner.  Sentiment is included with Rose Faerie Marci stamp.

Believe in Magic! {Altered Canvas}

Ever since we created our Daisy Faerie Marci stamp, I had an idea of making an Altered Canvas with her and I wanted it to look magical!  Not sure how magical my Canvas is, but I really, really, really enjoyed making it and I really, really, really love how it came out!

I painted canvas with acrylic paints in pink, yellow and white and then added some blue and green with bubble wrap.  I cut a doily in half for two corners, and misted it with shimmery glimmer.

Daisy Marci is resting on the Whimsy Mushroom.  Isn't she the CUTEST?!!  Oh, and did you notice those little mushrooms?  They are included with the Whimsy Mushroom stamp!

Daisies are made using our Water Lily Die.  I die cut four sets of flowers and it allowed me to make eight pretty daisies in four different sizes!  Viva Peal pen in Yellow for the centers.  Just perfect!

All the gorgeous leaves are cut from our Large Flourish Die.  I die cut four flourishes, two from green cardstock and two from dotted paper with glitter from Best Creations.

Heart Fence, Butterfly and Rolled Roses (Small&Medium and Large) are our Dies too!

I stamped the words in the sentiment (comes with Daisy Faerie Marci) separately on the ivory cardstock and outlined them with Memento Marker, then cut out.

This Altered Canvas is one of the projects for my upcoming WORKSHOP at Andie's Scrapbooking store in Bakersfield, CA.

Wings - Just for You...

Well, well, well...  It seems like it's been ages since I shared some of my projects with you.  July was very hectic with preparations to CHA and I did make projects for our display, just didn't have time to take photos and of course I couldn't show anything with our new products until after the show!

I will share my new cards/projects with you in the upcoming days.  I would like to start with the card that features our new DIES!  Yep, no stamping here other than sentiment!

This card features quiet a few of our dies from CHA release and one die from our May Release:

 - Wings Set

- Large Flourish

- Rolled Rose Large

- Rolled Roses Small & Medium

- Filigree Corner

I soooo love how this card turned out!  It's so pretty with all the sparkle from My Minds Eye and Best Creations papers!  

I die cut Wings from gold cardstock, I cut 5 (!!!) layers and glued them together to give them the weight.  Oh, and if you click on the photos you might be able to see embossed details on the Wings too!  So GORGEOUS!!!

Rolled Roses were die cut from pink colored vellum and I just love how soft it makes them look.  To make them even prettier, I placed pink adhesive peals inside of the roses.

Project Class in Syndey, Australia!

You've probably heard already that we are going on a little tour in Australia.  We are so excited!  

We are going to the Scrapbook & Papercraft Expo in Brisbane first and then traveling to Sydney where Irina will teach a class hosted by Sammi of Mad for Markers.

Wishing you Happiness!

I tried a few things with Copics on this card.  I was inspired to color hair in this style by Rosie.  I added flowers to Marci's dress and the Lantern after seeing Debra's coloring.  Thank you SO MUCH to both of you for inspiration!!!

My card features some NEW products from La-La Land Crafts.  I used our Marci with Lantern plus some of our new DIES - Filigree Corner and one of the butterflies from the Butterflies Set.  Sentiment on my card comes with Marci stamp along with the coordinating string of lanterns stamp.

This card measures 6" x 6".

  I popped Marci's lantern for a 3D effect.

I designed a recessed window Frame card to showcase some of our NEW DIES!  On my card I used our PALM TREE Die, ISLAND Die (one of the dies from the Set) and a WAVE BORDER Die (inside of the card, see photos below).   Plus this card features two NEW stamps from our last release HULA Marci and UKULELE Luka.

This card measures 6" x 6".
