it is a slide show of about 20 photos and might take a minute to load..

It was TONS OF FUN!!  We made so many different projects with various designs and techniques!!  If you would like to see the photos of some of the projects from this Workshop, please click HERE.

My next Workshop is scheduled for Sunday, January 9th.  If you would like to join but didn't receive an email with invitation from me yet, please let me know!!

White Christmas

I LOVE making white on white cards for Christmas.. they seem to ALWAYS turn out so elegant!!  I wasn't sure about white poinsettia, but I think it works!!!  Believe it or not, this card was inspired by one of Tim Holtz's tags, this one

I used this Spellbinders Poinsettia die last year, but my card last year didn't look anything like this.. this one I LIKE!!  I shaped the petals and popped the layers of the flower.  Background grid was made with my Scor-Pal.

This card is one of the projects at my upcoming upcoming December Workshop!!  To see other projects that we will be making at the Workshop please click HERE.

December Workshop is scheduled for Sunday, December 12th (this Sunday!!) in the scrap room at Scrapbook Island in San Jose, CA on Sunday, December 12th. We will be there all day, from 10 am to 6 pm!! That is a whole 8 hours of lots of FUN!!! Snacks, soft drinks and lunch will be provided.

Quick and Easy Christmas Tags

Cosmo Cricket paper and cut out elements combined with Marci and Luka images - just PERFECT for some last minute quick and easy Christmas Tags!!

I stamped Santa Marci and Caroling Luka images on textured cardstock and colored with Copics.. you really have to be careful not to add to much color, otherwise it starts to bleed out.. but I do LOVE the effect, they totally look watercolored!!  Other thing you might notice is that I used Distress Stickles on Marci's Santa Hat, poinsettia leafs and on collar of Luka's jacket - LOVE how it has a very settle soft and vintagy look.

These tags are some of the projects for my upcoming upcoming December Workshop (THIS SUNDAY!!).  To see other projects that we will be making at the Workshop please click HERE.

I am IN LOVE!!

I have to confess.. I have two new loves in my crafting life right now..  Tim Holtz's products and my new toy, Silhoette machine!!!  Just take a look at my card, how can you not LOVE these products!!!

I know I am not getting paid for this, but this also tells you that this is my absolute true opinion ;-)  Tim Holtz's dies and embossing folders are to die for!!  And I am not only talking about the designs, I am talking QUALITY!!!!  Did you know that with TH dies you can cut through a THICK chipboard??!!  Did you see how deep the embossing is from his embossing folders??!!  OH MY!!

And what about Silhoette??  I have no idea why Cricut is so popular and not so many people even know about Silhoette??  You won't believe how much more freedom you have with Silhouette vs. Cricut!!!  You can buy individual images instead of a whole cartridge (where you might only love a few designs), you can cut whatever size you need, you can make changes to the images, you can position the image on the cut mat where you want (thus saving on paper)!!  I can go on and on.. and I have only had this machine for a few days now and I am still learning!!

Onto my card now :-)
