Christmas pull-out drawer Card Box

This week is an Amuse release week at Cranberry Hill Mercantile and I decided to make a project using some of their new stamps. In fact all of the stamps used on this Drawer Box are new - the large snowflake, the label, the round winter scene and the sentiments!! To make my box, I used this tutorial on Splitcoast for my reference but of course I had to change the dimensions to fit my project.

This box would make a great gift on it's own ;-) Even once you use the cards, the box can be used for something else!!

This project is for my upcoming Make-and-Take event at Cranberry Hill Mercantile in Sunnyvale, CA. We will make a box with the pull out drawer plus four cards. This Make-and-Take is scheduled for:

Thursday, July 15th, 11 am to 7 pm*

*it takes about half an hour to complete this project and you can stop by at any time between 11 am and 7 pm

Please bring your favorite dry adhesive, liquid adhesive, foam tape and Scor-Tape. All other supplies will be provided.

Kits are available while supplies last, $25 each.

Sign up is not required, but is highly recommended as supplies are limited. Please call Cranberry Hill Mercantile at 408-736-9151 to sign up and/or purchase your kit/s.

This box fits regular size A2 cards.

BoBunny designer paper. Martha Stewart border and snowflake punches. Cuttlebug corner die cut. Snowflake was stamped with Tim Holtz ink and then heat embossed with the iridescent embossing powder. All other images and sentiments were stamped with Tim Holtz inks as well. Oh, and I just LOVE the drawer hardware - from Tim Holtz also!!

All the supplies used to design this card are available for purchase at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. If you do not live in the area, you can call the store at 408-736-9151 to place your order over the phone.

Notecard Holder - Gift Set

My last Make-and-Take event was such a HUGE success and I had actually had to turn quite a few people away because I ran out of supplies!! But fear no more, I had designed another Notecard Holder of the same style!!! This Notecard Holder has two side pockets and holds four cards with envelopes. Just like the last one, this one also has a magnetic closure.

I LOVE this paper from Prima, it has such a Victorian feel to it!! To stay within this feel, I used cream colored cardstock and chose the elements that I thought would compliment and not overpower the beautiful design of the paper.

This project is for a Make-and-Take at Cranberry Hill Mercantile in Sunnyvale, CA on Thursday, May 20th. You can stop by at any time between 11 am and 7 pm, it will take about half an hour to complete this project.. At this Make-and-Take you will have a choice of style for your project, I will show you the second one tomorrow.. Please specify which Notecard Holder you would like to make (or both) upon sign up.

Please bring Scor-Tape (or any other double sided tape) and your favorite dry adhesive. All other supplies will be provided.

The cost of this project is $20. Kits are available at $20 each.

Sign up is not required by is HIGHLY recommended. Quantities are limited!! Please call Cranberry Hill Mercantile at 408-736-9151 to guarantee your spot for the Make-and-Take and/or to purchase your kit/s.

The cards in this card holder are a regular A2 size, 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

Prima Designer paper. Fiskars border punch. Cuttlebug corners. Spellbinders tag for closure. Basic Grey magnets. Button is from Buttons Galore. Butterfly stamps are by Martha Stewart. Sentiment stamp is by Savvy.

All the supplies used to design this card are available for purchase at Cranberry Hill Mercantile. If you do not live in the area, you can call the store at 408-736-9151 to place your order over the phone.

Graphic 45 Desk Tidy

I have seen these very CUTE Desk Tidy things on so many blogs lately.. There is a tutorial on how to make one on Whiff Of Joy blog, click here.

So.. I got an idea and ran with it ;-) I wanted mine to hold regular A2 size cards and envelopes.. I created my own template and used absolutely GORGEOUS Graphic 45 paper from the newly released La Romance collection. This desk tidy will hold quite a few cards, and the pocket on the back is just perfect for envelopes, postage stamps, a pen, etc..

This will be my Make-and-Take project at Cranberry Hill Mercantile in Sunnyvale, CA. We will make a desk tidy and four cards during this Make-and-Take.. It is scheduled for:

Thursday, February 25th, 11 am to 7 pm
Saturday, March 20th, 11 am to 5 pm

Please bring scissors, your favorite adhesive and pop-up dots. All other supplies will be provided.

$25, 20 participants max

Sign up is not required, but is highly recommended. Supplies are limited!! Please call Cranberry Hill Mercantile at 408-736-9151 to sign up.

As you can see, I took A LOT of photos of this project.. but still.. it looks SO MUCH BETTER in person!!! I am VERY HAPPY with the way this one has turned out!!!

I went for a collage kind of look using Tags and paper from the same Graphic 45 collection.. Can you believe it there is not stamping on this project at all!! Other supplies used: EK Success Flower punches, EK Success corner punch, Marvy Urchida scalloped cirlce punch, Spellbinders Fancy Tags, Mark Richards pearls.

Weekly Challenges at La-La Land Crafts, this week's challenge is Paper Piece It!! For details and to enter check out this post.

This coming Saturday I will be at the Stamp in the Hand show (aka as The Original Rubber Stamp Convention) in San Jose, CA. I will be there with the store where I teach my classes, Cranberry Hill Mercantile. The name of our booth is Stamp On Over, this is the name of the stamp/scrapbook area of the store :-)

The store is bringing my La-La Land Crafts stamps to the show too!!! And, I will be doing a Make-and-Take with one of my new Halloween stamps. The photos of the Make-and-Take are below.. It is an altered plastic container!! Cute, cute, cute!!

Double sided Reminisce paper. Inverted scallop Nestabilites. Rosie is colored with Copics.

The big brad with the cat in the center was made with the Build-a-Brad tool (we will have the tool for sale in our booth!!!). The brad was made with the same designer paper, how cool is that!!! You can make your own brads to coordinate with your projects!!

JustRite stamp on the back of the container. We will have tons of JustRite stamp and accessories at the show.

Oh, and we are going to have some of these empty containers for sale as well!! You can alter it as you wish and create your own Halloween treat!!
