White Christmas

I LOVE making white on white cards for Christmas.. they seem to ALWAYS turn out so elegant!!  I wasn't sure about white poinsettia, but I think it works!!!  Believe it or not, this card was inspired by one of Tim Holtz's tags, this one

I used this Spellbinders Poinsettia die last year, but my card last year didn't look anything like this.. this one I LIKE!!  I shaped the petals and popped the layers of the flower.  Background grid was made with my Scor-Pal.

I am IN LOVE!!

I have to confess.. I have two new loves in my crafting life right now..  Tim Holtz's products and my new toy, Silhoette machine!!!  Just take a look at my card, how can you not LOVE these products!!!

I know I am not getting paid for this, but this also tells you that this is my absolute true opinion ;-)  Tim Holtz's dies and embossing folders are to die for!!  And I am not only talking about the designs, I am talking QUALITY!!!!  Did you know that with TH dies you can cut through a THICK chipboard??!!  Did you see how deep the embossing is from his embossing folders??!!  OH MY!!

And what about Silhoette??  I have no idea why Cricut is so popular and not so many people even know about Silhoette??  You won't believe how much more freedom you have with Silhouette vs. Cricut!!!  You can buy individual images instead of a whole cartridge (where you might only love a few designs), you can cut whatever size you need, you can make changes to the images, you can position the image on the cut mat where you want (thus saving on paper)!!  I can go on and on.. and I have only had this machine for a few days now and I am still learning!!

Onto my card now :-)
