Happy Easter

As with every single holiday it seems that it just sneaks up on you and there is never enough time to make all the cards that you want.  Especially when teaching.  Most likely this is the last Easter card I will make this year.  Oh, well...  there is always next year, right?  :-)

For this card I used our Easter Marci (love her!).  Marci's dress and a hat band are paper pieced.  You can buy this Marci stamp in our online store, click HERE.

This is one of the projects for my MARCH Workshop.

The journey is the start of the ADVENTURE {Canvas Art}

 I have been working on this project with Tricycle Marci for a few days now.  It was a lot of fun to make, but I am so glad that it is finally done!

I used a 6" x 6" canvas for the base and made the base and the roof out of chipboard.  Painted with acrylic paint, covered with Mod Podge.  Please see below for the list of supplies.

This piece will look great displayed on the table top or even hanging on the wall.  It is much prettier in real life!

One for the Boys

This week on our La-La Land Crafts Blog our Design Team is sharing their projects with "One for the Boys" theme.  I wanted to show you the card that I made for our CHA display.  I really do love how this card has turned out!  On this card I combined THREE different stamps from our last release - Sitting Luka, Brick Wall and Tire Swing.  My objective with this card was to show that our Tire is not just for sitting Marci or Luka on it, it can be used as a part of the scene as well.

This is one of the projects for my MARCH Workshop.

Paper Pieced Heart Chair

Here is one more card with one of our stamps from La-La Land Crafts - Heart Chair.  Again, I wanted to show that these stamps can make a card on their own!  This time I used paper piecing technique with the stamp.  I didn't add a sentiment to my card this time, I think it can be used for any occasion and I can stamp a sentiment inside when needed.

This is one of the projects for my MARCH Workshop.

a quick Hello!

I am so in love with our Garden Bench stamp!  I think it's very elegant!  I wanted to make a card that shows it in it's full glory!  I wanted to show that most our background stamps can be used on their own too!  And also I wanted to show that even though our stamps are designed to be colored, they look great used in different mediums!!

Trinket Box with Dress Up Marci

Today I would like to share another Trinket Box project.  I had an idea of using the "Polaroid" frame and also wanted to do 3D paper piecing again.  For the paper piecing on Dress Up Marci I cut about 6 stamped images including two from designer paper, shaped and layered them together.  It is still not as "shapely" as I would liked it to be, for some reason after a while some of the parts flattened, but I still like the result.  I really need to look for a different type of adhesive.

This is one of the projects for my MARCH Workshop.
